I signed up for the first Yoga Camp Photo Journey Retreat not having met any of the hosts or knowing anyone else attending and I'm so glad I did! I spent four days being filled up and nourished physically, spiritually, and emotionally. I left with a clearer vision of myself and my path. Elizabeth is a skilled and knowledgeable yoga teacher who brings a sense of reverence to her practice and the discussions she leads through chanting, drumming, and mantra. Lacey's background in gymnastics was great for helping us to feel safe trying new and more difficult poses. She brings playfulness and confidence to her workshops. The food was delicious and healthy, the cabin beautiful and spacious, and the setting on the powerful waters of Lake Superior cannot be beat. I have a zip drive full of awesome photos and lots of great memories of the sisterhood that came together that beautiful fall weekend!

I've felt stressed and depressed and weighed down for the past couple months. I felt called to go on this trip and I am so thankful for the experiences and connections I was able to get from it. I was finally able to take a couple of days to focus on myself and relax. I know there is a reason I crossed paths with you all. Also that I am so inspired by your story and how far you've come since you started yoga. I am already thinking about coming next year! I can't wait to see you all again when I visit.

Yoga Camp's Madeline Island Retreat is a trip into the mystery and beauty of yoga surrounded by the awesomeness of the changing season. I was so privileged to spend time and make friends with these amazing people. To all those going this year, my heart travels with you: Dance on the rocks, howl at the moon, and listen to your heart's response. Love to all of you! —Zoe Grubbs, Ham Lake, MN, 2016

Thank you for an incredible weekend. YOU (Elizabeth) set the tone for the whole weekend. You gave each of us an opportunity to open up, feel vulnerable and also safe at the same time. It's rare that you find people, gatherings, organizations, etc. that allow you the ability to do so.
So thank you for that.
